SERVE OUR COMMUNITY
YCL families serve the community by experiencing and engaging in hands-on service together. YCL believes in offering these service opportunities to children at a young age. Our youth members build their compassion muscles, understand the value of service, and develop an innate desire to give of themselves freely, rather than due to a sense of obligation.

“I was initially introduced to YCL through a friend at an in-person information session at her house in 2019 (remember those?!) I was so impressed with the goal of engaging kids and families with the community, the level of organization, and the simplicity of signing up for activities, that it was a fairly easy decision to become a member. It’s been a wonderful experience ever since! While most people expected fewer ways to support the community through service during the pandemic, the amazing team at YCL continued to offer fun and easy ways to engage. This proved to be a wonderful outlet for Sophia, our Sophomore, who logged more than 60 volunteer hours over the first year of the pandemic!
