Know a non-profit that could use volunteers of all ages? Youth Charity League is ready to help!

Since the inception of Youth Charity League, it has been part of our mission to create strong partnerships with local non-profits that support family-friendly volunteer opportunities. Every month, our members turn out in force for our partners like Meals on Wheels People, Northwest Children’s Outreach, Sunshine Division, and Oregon Humane Society. Volunteer opportunities with these partners regularly occur on our schedule and have fostered deep investment from our active membership. Last fall, we created a number of DIY projects with these partners, giving members alternate and flexible ways to volunteer their time. Since inception, Youth Charity League has given 943 hours combined to these four organizations.

Our member-run organization is actively encouraged to suggest new volunteer partnerships in support and expansion of our YCL volunteer mission. Through this suggestion process we’ve formed alliances with Project Lemonade, Ronald McDonald House, Children’s Cancer Therapy, the Maurice Lucas Foundation, Store to Door, and a host of other non-profits in the Portland Metro area.

We encourage all YCL members to connect Youth Charity League with new, potential non-profit partnerships. Please email volunteers@youthcharityleague.org if you would like to see another organization supported by YCL. If you’re a Portland-area non-profit with family-friendly volunteer opportunities, we want to hear from you! Contact volunteers@youthcharityleague.org to find out about partnering with YCL’s active and engaged volunteer membership!
